I know what is wrong. It’s summer and I haven’t had any float time. I have often said when kids are crabby put them in water. I think this applies to big kids too.
For many years I waited all year for that one precious week at Lake Powell when I could count on being ‘unplugged’ and getting my float time in. Like so many things, that week is long gone.
When my kids were babies I would give them a bath when they were fussy. As they got older I would send them out to the pool if they were cranky. Their pleasing personalities soon returned.
I am a firm believer there isn’t much a bath won’t cure. Water will go a long way toward improving one’s temperament.
My favorite relaxing technique is floating. Give me a lake, pool or better yet an ocean. That is my ultimate form of relaxation. I actually count floating as meditation.
The doctor orders 3 hours of float time, taken once a day for a week. Throw in a margarita for good measure!
Cheers!

I like the way you think! Float on, float on!
